Learning didn't stop when the semester ended! On July 1st and 2nd, Chenggong High School's junior high English camp was in full swing. We invited two foreign teachers, Dessa and Jennifer, along with our school's English teachers, to take the junior high students on a mini English journey across four countries!

Starting in the United States, students introduced themselves in English and designed their own small flags. They then sang familiar English songs, making learning both fun and engaging!

In the Egypt-themed session, students learned about various deities, drew cards representing their own personalities, and even made miniature pyramids and mummies—it was like being in a historical adventure movie!

In the afternoon, we arrived in France, where students built incredibly creative Eiffel Towers using marshmallows and spaghetti. They also played many interactive games about French culture and facts!

Finally, we flew to the Philippines. Besides playing trivia games, students also made "Filipino desserts" by hand. Everyone was laughing and eating, feeling incredibly involved!

In just two short days, everyone had a great time playing and learning naturally in English. It wasn't just about learning English; it was also the beginning of opening their eyes and bravely expressing themselves!

A big thank you to all the teachers for their dedication and to every student who participated. This summer was special because of you!

【成功高中國中部英文營｜解鎖世界，學英文也可以這麼有趣！】

學期結束學習不停歇，7月1日、2日這兩天，成功高中國中部的英文營熱鬧展開！我們邀請了兩位外籍老師 Dessa 和 Jennifer，加上學校英文老師，一起帶著國中的學生們來趟跨越四個國家的英語小旅行！

從美國開始，學生用英文介紹自己，還親手設計屬於自己的小旗子，接著唱著耳熟能詳的英文歌曲，學習又歡樂！

在埃及主題裡，學生認識各種神祇角色，畫出代表自己個性的卡牌，還動手做出迷你金字塔及木乃伊，像在拍一部歷史冒險片！

下午來到法國，同學用棉花糖和義大利麵蓋出一座座創意滿分的艾菲爾鐵塔，還玩了好多法國小知識的互動遊戲！

最後我們飛到菲律賓，除了玩知識搶答外，還親手做「菲式甜點」，大家一邊笑一邊吃，超有參與感！

短短兩天，大家用英語玩得開心、學得自然，不只是學英文，更是打開眼界、勇敢表達自己的開始！

From January 21 to 24, 2025, Chenggong Senior High School proudly held its Winter Camp 2025, a four-day event that brought together junior high and senior high students for a dynamic mix of hands-on learning, cultural exploration, and engaging activities.

The camp featured a variety of creative workshops and games designed to promote both learning and enjoyment. Students took part in bracelet making and puppet crafting, activities that encouraged artistic expression and fine motor skills. They also had the chance to learn and play traditional Filipino games, fostering cultural appreciation and teamwork. In addition, students were introduced to English board games, including Scrabble, helping them improve their language skills in an interactive and enjoyable way.

Beyond the activities, the camp provided students with meaningful opportunities to collaborate, build friendships, and develop confidence through creative and cross-cultural experiences.

Teachers expressed that the Winter Camp was not only beneficial for the students but also rewarding for the educators involved. “It was wonderful to see students actively engaged, learning joyfully, and working together. These moments go beyond the classroom,” one teacher shared.

Overall, Winter Camp 2025 was a resounding success—leaving behind not only crafted bracelets and puppets, but also lasting memories, stronger bonds, and a renewed love for learning.

成功高中於2025年1月21日至24日成功舉辦一年一度的冬令營活動，此次營隊結合了動手體驗、文化交流與趣味學習，吸引了來自國中部與高中部的學生踴躍參與，四天營隊內容豐富，成果斐然。

營隊活動涵蓋了多項創意課程與互動體驗，包括編織手環與製作紙偶，讓學生發揮創造力與手作技巧；此外，學生也學習並體驗了菲律賓傳統遊戲，促進文化理解與團隊合作。同時，透過接觸英文桌遊（如 Scrabble 拼字遊戲），學生在遊戲中自然提升英文能力，寓教於樂。

除了學習與活動本身，這次冬令營更成為學生彼此交流、表達自我、拓展視野的寶貴機會。活動過程中，學生們建立了深厚的友誼，展現了積極學習的態度。

教師們也表示，這四天不僅是學生的學習旅程，更是師生間互動與成長的重要時刻。一位老師分享道：「看到學生主動參與、歡樂學習，這樣的畫面非常感動，也讓我們更堅定教育的初心。」

整體而言，2025年冬令營不僅留下了學生們的作品與歡笑聲，更留下了珍貴的回憶與學習成果，是一場結合學習、文化與樂趣的精彩活動，值得回味與傳承。
